Aloe Vera gel can be used by both men and women and are suitable for all skin types.
Fresh Aloe gel is way more effective than market based products which they claim their product contains pure aloe gel but the later is chemical blended and processed product and there's a chance of it being too harsh for skin. So always try to get fresh aloe gel that one can directly get from the Aloe Vera plant.

Skin Benefits of Aloe vera gel and how to use :

1. Instant Glow
By applying fresh aloe vera gel in your face, you can see instant glow and well moisturised and flawless skin.
Use it half and hour before you head out of the house. Apply sunscreen after applying gel to avoid the tightness of your skin.

2. Night Cream
Our skin get exposed to sunlight and dirt through out the day, the pores in our skin suck in all the dirts and if not properly cleansed it will lead to acne break outs.
Before going to bed wash your face and pat dry. Apply thin texture of fresh aloe gel all over the face and neck area and leave it over night. When you wake up your skin will feel soft, moisturized and the pores are all tightened so there is less chances of dirt being sucked in next time.
Best results can be seen when used daily.

3. Face Mask
Aloe Vera can be used as face mask as well.. Blending the Aloe Gel with your favourite Face oil or Rose water or even face pack powder can be very effective for skin. Apply it thickly textured and leave it for 20-30 mins. It will helps keep your skin hydrated thus less chances of wrinkle and fine lines.

4. Healing effect
Aloe Vera can help reduce the need for inflammation, it's natural anti inflammatory benefits reduce redness and swelling. It can be used during minor skin burns, sun burns and even on cuts and wounds.
Before applying the Aloe gel make sure the surface are well cleansed.

5. Before/ After shaving
When used before shaving it will prevent your skin from drying and makes your skin feel soft so that razor blade easily be easily glide on to your skin and takes off the hair as close to root as possible. When used after shaving it will leave your skin well moisturised and prevents itchiness and also the hair grown afterwards are softer and not poky.
Shaving sometime will impact to small cuts so Aloe will heal those cuts as well..

How To Have Longer Lasting Lipstick.

Here’s how to keep your lips looking great all day, so you don't have to re-apply your lipstick throughout the day.

Many says and I believe it depends on the Lipstick quality whether it last long on your lips or not.  But girls it is not the whole truth, Though the quality of lipstick really matters alot but sometimes even if we apply the same lipstick among the friend circle but still there comes a difference in longevity of lipstick. My friends  often ask me how do I manage to last the lipstick for longer period and having told them few steps for lipstick to last longer I am amazed myself after seeing  the result on them. A girl who has to reapply lipstick every two hours didn’t even had to retouch for more than four/five hours even after she uses the same lipstick she used to apply before. Isn’t it cool?

These are the quick and easy tips for lipstick to last longer than ever, it might need an extra effort but your lil effort is really worth it.. Try it once and see!! J

To begin with, these are the products i use to create a longer lasting lipstick. You can use lipstick, liner, balm, brush and powder of your choice:

1. Moisturize your lips before going to bed:  

Before going to bed it’s very important to apply balm to your lips because when we sleep we don’t intake any fluids and that might lead to dryness of lips and because of that when you wake up your lips feel rough and dry. So if the base is not clear its obvious what ever you apply on it wont stay for long and it looks so untidy.. So in vest on a good balm, I would recommend you guys to use the Body shop balm its on reasonable price and the products works really well. If you are looking for cheaper ones or if you don’t find any good balm the best option available is Vaseline it contains Petroleum Jelly which will keep your lips fresh, plump, juicy and even protect your lips from drying. 

2.  Clear the base:

                               Lips exfoliating scrub!!          Moisturizer and damp tooth brush!!                          

So you wake up with a fresh plump lips because you moisturized it the other night, So what next??  While washing your face see if your lips is still rough or not, if so gently use a lip exfoliating scrub or if you don’t have one gently massage with a good moisturizer and lightly scrub away the top surface of your lips with a damp toothbrush to get rid of dull and dry skin cells.

3.Balm to the rescue:

Once your lips is dry apply your favorite lip balm very lightly just so to make a perfect clear base, go for a wax like texture so that your lipstick stays longer if you don’t have one simply use your lip balm lightly and press a thin tissue in between your lips or over your lips so it takes away the excess oil from your lips. If you have lip primer you can use that instead of using balm in this step, but I prefer balm.

4.Draw with liner:

This step is really important. It’s always good to start with a liner to define the line of your lips and fill in lightly so as it will let your lipstick color stays for longer period and also it will make you look whole day as there is less chances of dissolving your lipstick. But there are many girls who don’t prefer using liner if you are one of them it’s  ok you can skip it. But yah doing so will give a better result.

5. Main girl:

So with the same or similar shade of lipstick start applying it around the lips till the border you drew earlier. If you know lipsticks won’t stick your lips for long try applying more of Matte texture rather than gloss because the glossy ones are easy to smudge and are more likely to fade on your lips. Even if you are using the gloss lipstick you can blot the juicy like texture with a tissue.

6. Tissue and Powder:

Take a thinnest tissue and place it on your lips and with the use of blush brush  dust a translucent powder like Make Up For Ever HD Powder over the lips, through the tissue. If you don’t have one you can even try with a simple powder preferably Johnsons baby powder.  This sets the color, without depositing a layer of powder.

7. Reapply the lipstick:

Reapply the lipstick gently; Adding a second layer of lipstick after blotting increases the pigment concentration relative to the creamy ingredients that are the enemies of lipstick longevity.

Now Smile you are all set to go J

What would you tell your younger self?

That’s the question YouTube is asking women around the world for its #DearMe initiative. Launched in honor of International Women’s Day on March 8, YouTube is encouraging people to upload a video letter to the site, addressing their younger selves and the issues they faced growing up. Famous youtuber such as Essie Button, Michelle Phan, Scherezade shroff, Miss Malini and more have already uploaded #DearMe video and trust me they are really inspiring and encouraging. After watching their videos i thought i should also contribute to this campaign and i am doing my part here.

These are the few messages i would give to my younger self :

1.STOP SETTLING FOR ANYTHING LESS : Life is too short to settle for anything less than what we truly want. The only way to embrace your potential is to stop settling. Excellence is a place where people who refuse to settle for mediocrity live; it is where one reaps from all the hardwork sown. It is a journey of continuos progression toward the goals in your life.

"The minute you settle for less than you deserve, you get even less than you settled for."

2.GO WITH THE FLOW : When you screw up, Don't panic, It happens!! Just accept it and move on with life, Try not to over think for weeks, months and years about something that went wrong. Learn from the mistake, Pick it up and move on with life.

3.DO IT NOW : Time wasted is time lost for ever, Hence procrastination, that is the habit of postponing things, is rightly called the thief of time. Do not postpone and don't wait for a right time, you have to do it now and make it happen right instead of waiting for the right moment.

4.EMBRACE YOUR LIFE : Just let go of how you thought your life should be and embrace the life that is trying to work its way into your conciousness. Always remember everything in life happens for a reason.

5.ACCEPT WHO YOU ARE : Stop being someone else and Accept the real you. You are unique and yes you are your own kind of beautiful. It doesn't matter if you are short and over weight, Don't put pressure on yourself, instead of competing to someone else, look for the positive side in you and work for the better you.

Maybelline Pink Alert POW4 really made me feel it that way (Pink lips and so much of attitude)

I was never a pink lipstick fan until i met this gorgeous POW4 from the Maybelline Pink Alert range. It was a Love at First side with POW4, i remember going out with my friends to a drug store to buy something else and suddenly i saw this cute pink packaging and from that moment only i decided that i will get it soon and here it is in my hand.... tah dah.........
If you see my makeup box you'll realize how fond i am of LIPSTICKs but the problem is i never try different shades like Pink,Purple,Brown,Nude. Mostly you will see me wearing shades like Red, Rose red, Blood red, Orange red, Orange and alike but this time i came out of the box and tried a Pink shade and thank fully this PINK is what i have always wanted to try.

• As mentioned above the Pink packaging of this lipstick caught my eye instantly. It comes in a plain Pretty Baby Pink Cap cover with a plastic wrapped written "Pink Alert" (i wish it was written Pink Alert on the cap instead of wrapper).

• It has a sticker at the bottom of the lipstick with the shade name and code.

• The Metal cover that holds lipstick is just WoW because there will be some days that i forget to carry my mirror. So in that case this metal cover is a life saver because i can see my lips clearly over there.

• The Best thing about the exterior details of Maybelline Pink Alert POW4 is that the cap shuts tightly and there's no need to worry thinking that it might start drawing in your makeup bag :)

• If you like something in bright and neon, with no doubt this shade is meant for you.

• This shade is more preferable to those with light and fair skin tone or for those with fair to medium skin tone. ( I personally feel that we shouldn't always choose the colors that suits, sometime its good to try something new)

Texture

• The texture of this lipstick is really soft and smooth and you can apply it directly without using any balm.

• It is quite hydrating.

• As you apply you'll feel like it's giving you a glossy look but after few mins it will settle to as a semi matte finish.

Pigmentation

-With 1 swipe alone you will see a clear covered lips with no pigmentation.

-If you want very Bright Pink than give it a 2-3 swipes otherwise 1 swipe is more than enough to make your lips look colored and it will also cover pigmentation well.

Longevity

-The lipstick stays for 4-5 hours without any doubt but if you happen to have heavy meal in between only then you'll have to reapply otherwise for about 4-5 hours you don't have to worry.

Tips and Tricks to Apply

-Before applying this lipstick one has to make sure that her lips is well exfoliated or its smooth and clean otherwise if you apply it on rough lips it will create a very visible dirty lines in between your lips which i am 100% sure that none of us wants to make it look that way.

-When reapplying the lipstick after Meal make sure you first clean away the earlier remaining lipstick or else you will face same problem as above.

-In order to get bright pink lips dont over-apply the lipstick. 2 swipes are more than enough, the over-applying of this lipstick will make your lips feel heavy and greasy.

-If you like to make your lips look matte, Press a tissue paper in between your lips and pull it off after 3 seconds.

How to turn glossy lipstick into Matte

Pros

-Suits majority of skin tone.

-Compared to other lipstick it is quite difficult while putting off the lipstick.(it will need extra effort because of its greasy effect)

-Excess Layering is a Big NO..

My Final Say: Maybelline Pink Alert POW4 is a really girly coral pink shade which also gives a neon pop out color. So if you love something in bright and neon this shade is exactly the one without wondering about your skin tone because one has to make it's own style statement coming OUT OF THE BOX....

If you are reading this and if you love Lipstick this is that one shade of lipstick every girl should own because it suits almost all skin tone and brighten your face.

Review: L'Oreal Voluminous False Lashes Faux Cils

MY MASCARA STORY

I was never a MASCARA girl until i realized that eyelash plays the most important part in turning a girl into lady and make her look pretty and elegant..

It was during my Print Shoot with Images Bazaar, The MUA was nicely doing makeup on my face and suddenly she went crazy when she found out that my EYELASHES are way too short and invisible... since it was a corporate shoot she didn't use liner instead she kept the eye plain with double coat of MASCARA before that i don't step out without applying eye liner and the very next moment i did whole shoot with only mascara on my eyes NO LINER... But the moment i saw myself on mirror i went WOW crazy because my eyes were looking more fresh and attractive and since then I have been applying mascara continuously with or without liner.

I have been using this Mascara for more than a month now and i am liking it so much. This is the first ever mascara that helps my invisible eyelash look fuller and gave me confidence to walk out with just a coat of mascara without relying much on Liner.
This mascara is said to be a fiber voluminizing mascara, the lash sculpting fiber formula adheres to lashes for a volumized, sculpted lash effects. Lash appears fuller, longer, sculpted and curled at all angle. My lashes have found their new Best Friend :)

Yes, the look of the product attracts me to try out new things now and then and its obvious i choose those with lovely packaging and this mascara is one of a kind. ( I AM SUCKER FOR NICE PACKAGING). It's body is Geometrical shaped covered in golden color which has minimal words written on it.

                                                          BRUSH

It's brush is very short compared to other mascara brushes but the good thing about this brush is that it is easily applicable.The brush itself is slightly bent and it covers the entire lash line, it is convenient to use it on the lower lash line as well.

                                                       FORMULA

If you like wet formulations i wouldn't suggest you this mascara because this mascara is dry and thick even from a very first day. I prefer dry formulation, this mascara is dry to begin with and dries quickly too. Double coating is more than enough to get the look excess of which you will end up looking like a doll with heavy eye.

Below Mentioned are a set of reminders for those girls who are used to with makeup and it's a simple piece advice or guidelines for beginners on PRE and POST of makeup application.

PRE

Don't make mistake of putting on your makeup directly, it will led to formation of pores on your face.

FOLLOW THESE SIMPLE STEPS AND MAINTAIN YOUR GLOW:

1.Clean the dirt and oiliness of your face with the facewash that suit your skin.

2.Settle your face with a toner- apply it with cotton, It tightens the skin in preparation for moisturizing.

3.Moisturizing your skin with your daily-use lotion or cream is a must before makeup.

WAIT FOR 3-5 MINUTES TO SETTLE DOWN YOUR MOISTURIZER AND THEN YOUR SKIN IS READY TO DOLLED UP!!

You might had very hectic day at work or college or say a date but make sure you don't fall asleep putting your makeup on or else you will wakeup with new pimples next morning.

FOLLOW THESE STEPS:

1.Remove your makeup with cleanser using a cotton.

2.Make sure you cleanse your EYE MAKEUP first and then LIPSTICK only after that you cleanse other parts of your face.

3.Wash your face with facewash.

4.Follow it up with your favorite moisturizer or a night cream:)
